Description

A very tasty vanilla apple Charlotte - lush, juicy, tender, with a thin crispy crust. A simple recipe that yields a fragrant apple Charlotte from common ingredients. The excellent tested dough with the addition of sour cream makes the pie simply fabulous, and you can use it as a base and add pears or other fruits and berries to your liking. If you don't like vanilla, simply omit it. After baking, the finished Charlotte should stand, cool, and rest a bit before you can cut and enjoy this delicious baked treat.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cream the softened butter with sugar.

  2. Beat the eggs into the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.

  3. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture. Add the vanilla. Stir the batter with a spoon or fork until you have a soft and smooth batter for the charlotte.

  4. Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. The charlotte loves apples, so don't be stingy with them!

  5. Place the apples in the batter and mix.

  6. Grease the baking dish (I have a 20 cm diameter dish) with oil, both the bottom and sides.

Spread all the batter, leveling the top.

Place it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius and bake for approximately 50 minutes. Sometimes it may take a bit more or less time, so keep an eye on your oven.

The finished apple pie should be golden brown and well-baked. You can check for doneness with a toothpick. If it comes out dry and clean after inserting it into the pie, then the pie is ready.

  7. For serving, you can dust it with powdered sugar.

  8. This is the perfect apple Charlotte, a favorite recipe for the family.
