Canned fish soup
Description
Quick, simple, and very tasty fish soup with saira fish and rice – a flavor familiar from childhood! If you haven't cooked or tasted fish soups with canned fish, I recommend trying it; it's a wonderful budget-friendly recipe with readily available ingredients.

Instructions
-
Sauté finely chopped onion in a saucepan, then add grated carrot and sauté them together until the carrot becomes tender.

Add paprika, a bit of salt, and pepper. You can adjust the salt and pepper to taste later, towards the end, as you bring the soup to its desired flavor.
-
Pour in the water.
-
Immediately add the rinsed rice and diced potatoes to the pot.
-
Bring it to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
-
Then add the saira fish to the soup, and with a spoon, break it into pieces.
-
Add the bay leaf and simmer for another 5 minutes on low heat, keeping the lid closed.
-
Sprinkle the canned fish soup with finely chopped greens, and the dish is ready to serve. Enjoy!
