Ingredients
Instructions
-
The weight of the carrots is specified after peeling, and you should grate them using a large grater. The eggs should be taken out of the refrigerator in advance, and they should be at room temperature.
-
Beat the eggs into a deep, convenient bowl. Add sugar and vanilla sugar to them.
-
Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and a foam forms.
-
Then sift the remaining flour and carefully mix with a spoon until you have a uniform dough.
-
Add the grated carrot, lemon zest (only the yellow part), lemon juice, and vegetable oil to the dough. Mix everything well.
-
Line the bottom of the baking pan with parchment paper. Spread our dough evenly in the pan to ensure even baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
-
The cake should be golden brown. Be sure to check its doneness with a wooden stick. If the stick comes out clean, the cake is ready.
-
The carrot cake should be completely cooled. Remove it from the mold. Optionally, you can decorate it with powdered sugar.
-
Enjoy your tea!
