Instructions
-
Teriyaki sauce can be store-bought, but I suggest a recipe for homemade sauce.
Crush the garlic with the side of a knife, and slice the ginger thinly.
In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, wine, ginger, garlic, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 50 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and reduces by half. Strain and let cool.
-
Rinse the chicken drumsticks well and pat them dry with paper towels. Grease a baking dish with oil and place the drumsticks in it.
-
Coat the top of the drumsticks with teriyaki sauce, using 100 ml.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
-
Remove the dish from the oven, coat the drumsticks again with sauce (100 ml), and return to the oven at the same temperature. Bake until done, about another 20 minutes.
-
Serve the chicken drumsticks in teriyaki sauce from the oven with chopped green onions and sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
