Chicken Rolls with Cheese
Description
Juicy chicken rolls with cheese, baked in the oven, wrapped in bacon, and coated in crispy breadcrumbs. A delicious and satisfying dish for lunch or dinner – easy to prepare and incredibly tasty! You can serve it with a side of potatoes. I suggest baking potatoes with olive oil and white wine alongside these chicken rolls with mozzarella.

Instructions
-
You need to cut the chicken fillet in half lengthwise. Gently pound each slice with a kitchen mallet to avoid damaging the meat.
-
Season the meat slices with salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
-
Cut the mozzarella into 6 pieces.
-
Place a piece of cheese at the edge of each chicken fillet and roll it up.
-
Wrap each roll in a strip of bacon.
-
Coat each roll in the following sequence: first in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally in breadcrumbs. Place all the prepared rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius. My rolls were in the oven for 35 minutes.
-
For the potato side dish, we need to thoroughly wash the potatoes and cut them in half. Place them in a deep bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and white wine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
We will bake the potatoes with their skins on, and the size of the potatoes should be medium or slightly smaller.
-
Place the halves of the potatoes on a baking sheet.
-
Bake in a preheated oven until the potatoes are fully cooked, golden brown, and tender inside. The baking time may vary depending on your oven and the size of the potatoes, but it's usually around 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).

Chicken roll-ups with cheese and baked potatoes, cooked in the oven, are ready to be served. Enjoy your meal!

Bon appétit!
