Chicken with beans and vegetables in sauce
Description
Meat with a side dish in one skillet! A hearty and very tasty dish - chicken stewed with beans, onions, and carrots in a tomato-cream sauce. Add garlic and fragrant fresh herbs, and you have a complete main course. Mashed potatoes can be served as an additional side dish. Simple and quick dish for lunch or dinner.

Remove the skin from the drumstick and cut the meat. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.

Fry in vegetable oil on a hot skillet until golden brown on both sides and then transfer to a separate plate.

In the same oil where the meat was fried, sauté finely chopped onion and carrot grated coarsely until the vegetables are soft. Then add tomato paste, simmer for a minute, and add sour cream. Mix, simmer for a bit longer.

Pour in the water, bring to a boil.

After the sauce has boiled, return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add boiled or canned beans. Salt and pepper to taste.

At the end, add squeezed garlic and finely chopped dill. Cover and let it sit for a bit. The beans will soak up the sauce and all the flavors.
