  1. Grate the cheese using a fine or coarse grater as desired. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel the garlic and crush the cloves with a knife.

  2. In a heated skillet with oil, add the garlic and sauté for about a minute. When the oil becomes infused with the garlic flavor, add the ground meat. After sautéing for 5 minutes, sprinkle with spices.

  3. To the partially cooked ground meat, add the tomato sauce and half a cup of water. Stir and bring it to a boil, then simmer the sauce for half an hour. Bolognese sauce is ready.

  4. In a saucepan, melt the heavy cream butter. Add the flour and mix thoroughly until fully combined.

  5. Gradually pour in the milk and stir until there are no lumps. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for no more than 7 minutes until it thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool. Bechamel sauce is ready.

  6. Grease a baking dish generously with vegetable oil or heavy cream. Spread a small amount of bechamel sauce on the bottom.

  7. Layer the lasagna sheets on top. You can use the sheets dry or soak them in warm water for 15 minutes beforehand to reduce cooking time.

  8. Spread a thin layer of Bolognese sauce on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

     

  9. Drizzle with bechamel sauce and repeat the same steps.

  10. Once all the layers are assembled, place lasagna sheets on top, drizzle with bechamel sauce, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

  11. Transfer it to a hot oven and bake for 40 minutes.
