Ingredients
Instructions
-
Dip the pieces of bread with bran in a blender bowl and make breadcrumbs. You can also use store-bought breadcrumbs for coating.
-
Peel the potatoes and grate them using a large grater directly into cold water. This will prevent the potatoes from darkening and help remove excess starch. Then, drain the grated potatoes well and transfer them to a deep bowl.
-
Add two egg yolks to the potatoes (we won't need the whites, but you can use them to make a tasty and nutritious omelet). Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything well.
-
Pour oil into the bread crumbs, mix well.
-
Shape a small potato patty with your hands and coat it in our breading.
-
This results in 8 such patties. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
-
Crispy oven-baked potato nuggets - simple and economical snacks, serve hot right away.
