Ingredients
Instructions
-
Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Add the dry yeast to it and mix.
-
Grate the chilled butter into the flour with yeast using a grater. Mix the flour with the grated butter by hand until it forms a crumbly texture. The process will be simpler and faster if, while grating the butter, you constantly dip it into the flour.
-
In a separate container, beat the eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt.
-
Pour the egg-sugar mixture into the bowl with flour and butter.
-
Knead the soft dough with your hands.
-
Divide the dough into three parts. Place one part on the working surface, wrap the remaining two with plastic wrap, and refrigerate.
Lightly dust the working surface and the dough with flour. Roll out the dough into a thin layer. Using a plate, cut out a neat circle.
-
Cut the round layer of dough into sections.
-
Place the filling on the wide edge and roll it into a croissant. To do this, cover the filling with the corners of the wide edge and roll it towards the narrow part.
Cherry jam was used as a filling.
-
Bake in a preheated oven for 12 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.
-
Dip the cooled cookies in powdered sugar.
-
Jam-filled croissants turn out very delicious!
-
Enjoy your tea!
