Description

Liver patties with chicken liver - tender, soft, with an appetizing crust. This is a very simple recipe for a quick lunch or dinner. Liver patties with semolina are an economical dish with a minimal set of ingredients. They can be served with mashed potatoes, cereals, salads, or simply with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients
  • 500 g Chicken liver
  • 2 tbsp Semolina
  • 1 Chicken egg
  • 1 tbsp Wheat flour
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Carrot
  • 2-3 clove Garlic
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
  1. Clean the liver from all membranes, peel the carrot, onion, and garlic. Cut the carrot and onion into chunks, place them together with the liver and garlic in a blender, and blend. Alternatively, use a meat grinder.

  2. Pour the blended liver with vegetables into a deep bowl, then add the egg and mix.

  3. Add salt (a pinch or to taste) and black pepper.

  4. Now add the semolina and sifted flour.

  5. Mix well and let it sit for 15 minutes for the semolina to swell.

  6. Now, mix the mixture and start frying the patties.

    Using a tablespoon, pour the mixture onto a well-heated pan with oil. You'll need about 2 tablespoons of our liver dough per patty.

  7. Fry for about 3 minutes on each side. The patties should become golden brown.

    Once ready, transfer the patties from the pan onto a paper towel to remove excess oil.

  8. Liver patties are ready to serve. Quick and tasty, be sure to try them out!
