Microwave Mug Omelette

To prepare a breakfast in 5 minutes? Easy! A rich and juicy microwave mug omelette is healthy and delicious! The omelette itself takes 3 minutes in the microwave, and a few minutes for preparation is all you need. For a standard 250 ml mug, you'll use 2 eggs, salt, black pepper, and any other ingredients to your taste. I suggest my tried and true recipe for an omelette with chicken, tomato, and greens. No oil, no frying, and no dirty pans. Isn't that wonderful?

If you're used to making omelets with milk or sour cream, feel free to add them. In general, you can experiment with ingredients as you like! You can add mushrooms, bell peppers, cheese, ham, olives... It all depends on your favorite combinations and what's in your fridge.

Beat the eggs in a mug, add the spices, and beat them lightly with a fork.

Add finely chopped herbs, chicken meat (I used baked chicken fillet), and diced cherry tomatoes. Mix well, then place in the microwave on high power for 1 minute.

After a minute, remove the mug and stir the contents with a fork. Put it back in the microwave to cook for another 2 minutes.

A fluffy mug omelette with tomato, chicken, and herbs tastes much better than fried in a pan.
