Ingredients
Instructions
-
Peel the onions and trim the ends from both sides.
-
Slice the larger portion of the onion that you have into large rings, about 1 cm thick.
-
Separate the rings.
-
Cut the cheese into thin strips and place them inside the largest onion rings.
-
The cheese should be placed inside the entire onion ring, just like in the photo.
-
Place a smaller onion ring inside the larger one. This way, the cheese is sandwiched between the layers of onion.
-
Transfer the prepared onion rings to the refrigerator for 1 hour.
-
Prepare three convenient bowls for breading. In one, beat the eggs with a fork, in the others, place the flour and breadcrumbs.
Coat the onion rings in the following sequence: flour, eggs, breadcrumbs, then dip them again in the beaten eggs and coat them with breadcrumbs once more.
-
Pour oil into a skillet or a small saucepan and heat it. Fry the rings until they are a delicious golden color. Place the cooked snacks on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
-
Serve the onion rings with cheese hot, right to the table. Enjoy!
