Pasta with tuna and tomato sauce

This is a delicious hearty dish of Italian cuisine that won't harm your figure. The main thing is to choose good quality products, as well as pasta from hard wheat varieties.

You need to chop the onion very finely and fry it in olive oil until it starts to turn golden.

Add the chopped garlic to the onion and fry them together for a bit.

Add the smoked paprika.

Add the chopped tomatoes in their own juice.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cook for about 3 minutes.

Now it's time to add the broth or water. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil.

When the sauce is boiling, add the dry pasta. Do not pre-cook it!

Stir, ensuring the pasta is fully submerged in the sauce.
Cook for approximately 10 minutes with the lid on, or until the pasta is cooked.

Drain the canned tuna using a colander to remove all the liquid. Press down with a spoon or fork to remove as much liquid as possible.
Add the tuna to the pasta and sauce, and mix well.
