For this recipe, we will need chilled mashed potatoes. Mash them well to remove any lumps, add salt, and any other spices to taste.

Add the potato starch to the mashed potatoes. Mix with a spoon at first, then knead the dough by hand.

The potato dough should be smooth and not sticky.

Sprinkle the work surface with potato starch, place the dough on it, and press it with your hands to form a flat layer.

Sprinkle some potato starch on top of the dough as well. Roll it out to a thickness of about 3-4 mm. Cut it into strips.

The vegetable oil should be well heated. Fry the cut strips in small batches until golden brown.

Place the cooked potatoes on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
