Potato pie with mushrooms and chicken
Description
A very tasty potato pie with chicken and mushrooms is prepared simply and quickly. An appetizing potato pie with a chicken-mushroom filling and gooey cheese is the perfect combination! This dish is quite self-sufficient and nutritious. You can serve it at home for lunch or dinner with a fresh salad, or take it to work or a picnic as a snack. The baking dish used has a diameter of 20 cm.

First, boil the potatoes, mash them, and let them cool. Fry the onion in oil, then add the chicken fillet, cut into small pieces, season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté everything together for 5 minutes.

Slice the mushrooms and brown them on both sides.

Beat the egg into the cooled mashed potatoes.

In the bowl with the potatoes, add the flour, a bit of black pepper, and salt.

Mix until it's uniform.

Spread the potato dough in a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Distribute it on the bottom and along the edges so that the dough layer is quite thick.

Place the sautéed chicken with onions on top, and spread it out with a spoon.

On top, place the mushrooms.

Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Remove the foil, sprinkle with grated cheese, and return it to the oven without foil for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
