Quick garlic bread rolls

In a deep bowl, combine the dry ingredients: sifted flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt. The yeast should be fresh and of good quality. If you want sweeter dumplings, add 2-3 tbsp of sugar, then the dumplings can be eaten as sweet rolls. Want to enjoy a subtle vanilla aroma? Then add a bit of vanilla sugar.

Add warm water (about 50-60 degrees Celsius) and oil to the dry ingredients. Start by mixing with a spoon, then use your hands.

The dough should be soft and slightly sticky. It shouldn't be too dense but also not too runny.

With these ingredients, you'll make 15-20 dumplings. Choose a convenient baking dish or, as in my case, several dishes. Grease the dish with oil. Shape the dough into balls the size of a small apple. Arrange them in the dish. You can place them next to each other or with a 0.5 cm gap between each.
Let them sit in a warm place for 5 minutes.

Before placing them in the oven, brush the tops with the egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (about 350 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 15 minutes. The tops should have a nice golden crust.

We'll start by making the garlic sauce with herbs. Squeeze the garlic, mash it with salt, add oil, mix in finely chopped dill, and pour in cold boiling water. Mix well.

Ready garlic rolls can be covered with a damp cloth for a few minutes. This will make the pastries softer and more tender.

Then break them into individual pieces.

Drizzle the warm dumplings with garlic sauce.
