Instructions
-
Rinse the arugula under cold water and pat it dry. The cheese ideally should be Parmesan, but if it's not available, you can use any hard cheese you have in the refrigerator. It still turns out very tasty!
-
Cut the slices of white bread into cubes, drizzle them with olive oil, and sprinkle with some of the Italian herbs. If desired, you can add crushed garlic using a garlic press.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake the aromatic bread cubes for 5 minutes.
-
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half or quarters, whichever you prefer.
-
Tear the arugula leaves by hand and add the tomatoes to it.
-
Season with salt, sprinkle with Italian herbs and basil (both optional). Add grated cheese.
-
Dress with a spoonful of olive oil. Add the cooled croutons and sesame seeds.
-
The salad with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and croutons is ready! Enjoy!
